Belle Hall Plantation is one of the most inviting neighborhoods East of the Cooper River in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
“The great potential of Belle Hall is its diversity of homes,” explains Ann Marconi, broker/co-owner of Exit Realty Charleston Group. “There are different neighborhoods within the community, each with their own style.”
Seven neighborhoods make up the plantation, with starter single-family homes beginning at $250,000 for 1,300 square feet and rising to $1,650,000 for more than 5,000 square feet. Veranda, Rice Bay and Courtyard were the first neighborhoods to be built in the early 1990s and consist mostly of starter homes. Battery Point, with bigger homes and larger lots, was next. Lots are still available in the final three sections of Belle Hall. The Island consists of custom homes built by local contractors. Evian’s homes, on larger lots, offer custom designs and finishes, while Hibben has a neo-traditional look. The demand for homes in Belle Hall is still high, and interested buyers can choose from approximately 60 listings.

“Besides an incredibly convenient location, Belle Hall has wonderful amenity centers, a choice of neighborhood and home styles, views and prices,” says Kathy Rawers, also broker/co-owner of Exit Realty Charleston Group. “There is a wide variety of homes and lifestyles. It offers two miles of walking trails, a crabbing dock, a community park, ponds and amenity centers with great pools.”

Ann states it simply: “Belle Hall is a convenient location for job access, shopping and dining, a good school system for all grade levels and is walking and biking friendly.” When asked what the one thing people might not know about Belle Hall, Kathy, a native Charlestonian, quickly points out that there is a shortcut to Belle Hall Elementary School so children can walk to school. Ann and Kathy know full well the merits of Belle Hall because Exit Realty’s 6,000-square-foot corporate office is located at the front entrance.
“Exit agents are experts on the development and have quick access for previewing and showing Belle Hall properties,” says Kathy, adding that “Exit Realty Charleston Group prides itself on hiring the highest-trained full-time professionals in the industry. Integrity, product knowledge and customer service are a requirement for any agent joining Exit.”
